For those reloading..

Just got an email from Natchez Shooting supplies...they have Hodgon BLC-2 powder in 8 lb jugs. This stuff is great for .223 and .308 ammo. Get it while it's good.

may have to scoop one of those up. Does anyone know how much would be good to start with load wise for a 308?

Is there load data for this powder available in the manuals?

I've been getting the IMR4895 and H4895 lately.

Check out www.hodgdon.com , www.imrpowder.com, or www.wwpowder.com for reloading data for those powders.

The Hodgdon manual gives the following basic info:

150 gr Nosler BT - 48gr BLC-2, 45.5gr H4895
168gr Sierra BTHP - 47gr BLC-2, 43.5gr H4895
175gr Sierra BTHP - 46 gr BLC-2, 42.7gr H4895

These loads are with Winchester cases & Federal 210M primers.
